Spaciousness

I chose to publish this newsletter as a guest post written by Jennifer Boose, the director of the School of Esoteric Healing located in Winston-Salem, NC. You can go here to learn about Jennifer and her school. When I received this newsletter, it immediately struck a chord and it only made sense to publish here for all my loyal readers. I hope you enjoy Jennifer’s guest post. Happy New Year to you and yours!

Leap Fearlessly!

Really … It’s About Spaciousness

SpaciousnessIt has been months since I last sent out a full newsletter to the entire list. Months since I’ve held a teleclass, months since I’ve had any contact with most of you. Life has certainly been challenging and I’ve heard that’s how it’s been for just about everybody. Spaciousness

The energies of transformation and change are speeding up and we’ve all felt the shifts and changes in dramatic and challenging ways over the past year. It’s going to get more intense as we roll into the new year. But, hang with me here, intensity is not a bad thing and in 2014 you’ll see how much wiser and how much more developed your skills are from living through the challenges of 2013. There is no getting away from it. Spaciousness

This can also be said about all of the changes taking place around you. You can either accept and flow with them, or you can dig in your heels and try to slow down or stop them while making life much more difficult for yourself. Spaciousness

I believe these last few months of the year have been about recognizing and inviting in spaciousness. Case in point, maybe you have this experience, too. As the days become shorter I slow down, even when I have a full schedule. I had a lightbulb moment when I realized that it’s not the change in the light or the shortening days, but my struggle against it and my insistence that I should be just as focused and productive, you know, business as usual.

And that’s always where the exhaustion and blues creep in, get a toe hold, suck me into drama – through struggle. Pushing away, denying, wishing.Month by month, I’ve been marching forward, letting go of the old and trying to welcome the new, enduring the difficulties, hardships, pain and uncertainty of what might lie ahead. I know you have been too.The landscape of your life is changing and there is no turning back or stopping it. What was set in motion over a year ago has gained momentum and will continue moving forward with or without your acceptance, rejection, blessing or permission.

During the coming year, don’t lose sight of what you want to achieve, the goals you set for yourself, what you want to leave behind, and how you want to feel in the coming months. Going forward, you may find yourself feeling out of control, emotional, uncomfortable, fearful and angry. You may want to turn back the hands of time and return to a place that was familiar. But that’s simply not an option because you are in the midst of the ‘tides of change’. To fight it will pull you under just like the rip tides of the ocean, pushing and pulling you further and further down into the depths of fear, frustration, and darkness. However, accepting the changes and allowing yourself to move with the natural ebb and flow will keep you afloat with your head above the waves and your heart in the light. While you may not be able to know exactly where you are going, you will be able to see the direction you are headed and allow yourself to be supported as you are getting there.

Remember:
•    Hold your own space
•    Embrace the potentials of tomorrow
•    Empower the Being within
•    Be adventurous in your thoughts and dreams
•    Seek the unknown and face your fears
•    Be fully present in the dawning light of the new year
•    Breathe and let go

None of this is easy. Change never is. But, if you can believe with every fiber of your being that everything will work out in the best possible way for you and your life, it will turn your fear into encouragement, your despair into comfort, your frustration into happiness, and your darkness into peace and lightheartedness. The right choices lead you to possibilities of fulfilling your potential … your true calling. Spaciousness

I tear up in tender gratitude every time I remember to stop – where ever I am – and allow there to be room for whatever I am feeling, noticing, experiencing. The invitation to spaciousness is my dearest companion and greatest desire during these winter months – to allow myself to be in the field beyond right doing and wrong doing, noticing, saying yes, making space.

May we all meet and dance there together. Spaciousness

Blessings,

Jennifer
